Summer Nature Observation Program for at-risk children

Habitat Helpers

Young Science Explorers

To Whom It May Concern:
I am starting a new and innovative outdoor, hands on summer science program for at-risk 5 and 6 year old children through Garden City Public Schools. This program will teach young scientists to recognize unique animals and wildlife while they will develop an appreciation for nature. We will compile a science journal as we learn about organisms, adaptations and taking care of the environment. Since this is a brand new program for the community, I currently do not have the funds to support the cost of a few supplies. We will be doing field and bird observations in this program and are in great need of binoculars for the children that do not have access to such resources. Your consideration would be much appreciated.
Thank you, Julia Roscoe
