Description

To Whom It May Concern:
I am starting a new and innovative outdoor, hands on summer science program for at risk 5 and 6 year old children that I teach in my school district, Garden City Public Schools. This program will teach young scientists to recognize unique animals and wildlife while they will develop an appreciation for nature. We will compile a science journal as we learn about organisms, adaptations and taking care of the environment. Will be exploring the outdoors, making field observations and bird watching. Since this is a brand new program for the schools, I currently do not have the funds to support the cost of a few supplies. Your binoculars would be a much needed and much appreciated donation to the program for children who do not otherwise have access to such resources. Thank you for your consideration,
