Youth from the Church of Latter Day Saints implemented a bird garden, vegetable garden and compost pile for Geneva Hills environmental education programs. The bird garden was started by moving brush into piles, bluebird boxes were cleaned and stained, and bird feeders were brought in to install. These improvements will help various birds at Geneva Hills such as Eastern Bluebirds, Cardinals, Eastern Phoebe, Chickadees, various woodpeckers, and Wood Thrush. With these improvements, local schools and community groups are benefited with preserved areas for learning. Local wildlife species now have dedicated areas for growth and protection.
