Students at the Mountain Stewardship and Outdoor Leadership School are going to be spending the spring semester learning about survey protocol for species that frequent the Appalachian Mountains. Biologists will be teaching lessons on one specific taxa. Once the lesson is completed, the students will go to the Morgantown Learning Academy (MLA) Land Lab to practice their survey techniques and collect data on species that live at MLA. This is all in preparation for the Coopers Rock State Forest BioBlitz in the spring of 2015.
