A rain garden was designed by a local architect and planted by the Lenawee ISD Tech Center students. The rain garden is just one part of many different types of sustainable habitat at the Lenawee ISD’s Center For A Sustainable Future. Plants include natives that are hummingbird friendly such as Cardinal Flower and help to collect run-off rain water.

Thank you for your submission! This is a great way to transform an area that would have otherwise been ignored into a beautiful natural space. Have you seen any hummingbirds hanging around the garden yet?
