We currently have a garden that the students have worked, and developed over the past couple of years. The goal for the garden is to show the students how to reduce their carbon footprint by composting, growing their own produce, and putting it back on their table. We want to incorporate native Missouri wildlife into the garden, and tie it to the new NGSS standards for science. Our current garden provides water and food for birds. This is from our rain barrels and raised beds. We will use the money to buy trees, shrubs, and flowers that are bird friendly and can benefit our current garden. We are asking for $656.66, if you need an itemized list of what we need then please let us know and we can send it.
