Students from Patagonia Union High School collaborated with The Nature Conservancy and Borderlands Restoration (a local organization whose goal is to restore watersheds, ecosystems and connect the community with the natural world) to plant over 100 hummingbird and pollinator-attracting plants at the Patagonia-Sonoita Creek Preserve.

Students were introduced to Borderlands Restoration’s approach to habitat restoration and were encouraged to start pollinator gardens on their high school campus.
