Student and parent volunteers along with local resources (Suncoast Native Plant Society, Clearwater Audubon, Temple Terrace Garden Club, Tampa Bay Estuary Program) are improving a modified wetland habitat as an outdoor classroom. The students will be observing and monitoring plants, animals and the water quality to improve the biodiversity of the habitat. The school’s campus has many bird species that flyover daily including a resident pair of Red-shouldered hawks who visit frequently.
