Description

Every year for the past three years, WBMS Science students have participated in the Fall Clean Valley Days as a part of the Clean Valley Councils Fall Waterways Day. We also participate in the Spring Clean up as well. Students have picked up trash from in along the Wolfe Creek Greenway, some during class time, but a small group has participated in a Saturday of clean up.
We have had over 100 students participate. Even parents join us. This year, one of the parents even suggested we have two clean up sites and she would set it up!!

The debris had evidently been disposed of prior to the development of the near by houses then covered up and was uncovered as a result of the stream eroding the bank. The adults involved in the clean up had to make sure students were not injured by the many class shards...
