Our second and third grade classes went out on a Autumn Equinox hike. We went out looking for signs of Chickadee birds. As our state bird we want to learn more about their habitats, food sources, bird calls and more. Our students have built bird feeders and today we went searching for optimal places to locate the feeders. We hope to increase the amount of Chickadees on our school property.
